A woman awaits, on the agreed-upon date and time, her former classmates for a reunion.
Hours go by and they haven’t shown up yet – could they have they forgotten about her? – she wonders, betrayed. There are pieces of ourselves in our classmates and a school can host bonds that prove forever formative. The woman fidgets with the ring upon which the date for the reunion is engraved, wondering what of it was real and what a dream.
