Leoforio – 19 Stops

The narrator gets on a line 10 bus at its start in Charilaou. Every stop marks the beginning of another story, part real – part made up. Faces, memories, urban legends and quite a bit of tenderness for a route daily travelled by dozens of people. His face pressed against the window, the narrator guides the viewer through a few of these stories.

Bio

He made his cinematic début in 1982 in the film ‘Summer Lovers’, while his first attempt at directing was in 2006, in partnership with Efi Mouriki, in the film ‘Straight Story’, which he co-wrote. He has participated in some of the most well-known Greek film productions, such as: ‘Safe Sex’, ‘Crying… Silicon Tears’, ‘Honey and the Pig’, ‘Nisos’, and ‘Nisos 2: To kynigi tou hamenou thisavrou’.

He started his theatre career in the early 1980s working with well-known directors and performing in popular troupes. Later, he started to direct and star, at the same time. He started appearing on television in the early 1990s, participating in a number of series.
