A text about the red-light fringes of the city of the 1980’s. A stroll through and around the Ladadika district and its memories. Glimpses of a city of passion and sentiment, authentic and human – figures of the night, boys dressed as girls, walks around the old brothels, people who “made love courageously and passionately”.
She studied at the Faculty of Philosophy of AUTH and the Drama School of the NTNG from which she graduated with honours. She worked with the National Theatre of Northern Greece, the National Theatre of Greece, with the D. Papamichail – Al. Vougiouklaki theatre troupe, and with G. Kimoulis. In the summer of 2011, she participated in the Athens & Epidaurus Festival. At the same time, she starred in television series.
She has performed ancient drama at the Epidaurus Festival and at festivals abroad. In 2011 she participated in the Congreso Internacional de Estudios Clasicos organised by the National Autonomous University of Mexico, titled ‘La tradicion clasica en Occidente’, where she spoke on: ‘Actors and Ancient Drama in modern Greece’.
She has worked with important artists and directors. She teaches as an alternate professor at the Theatre Department of AUTH. She has also taught Acting at the National Theatre of Greece Drama School.
