Original text, written for the 55th Dimitria Festival, a response to the short story titled «Βαρδιάνος στα σπόρκα» by Alexandros Papadiamantis

The actress will read an original text by author Akis Dimou, which was written specifically for the occasion, and which refers to a story that takes place during the 19th century plague.

Bio

She went to school at Anatolia College and subsequently studied Philology at the Faculty of Philosophy of AUTH, as well as acting at the Drama School of the National Theatre of Northern Greece (NTNG). She has appeared in several Greek television series, such as ‘Oi Aparadektoi’— this is where she got a nickname that followed her around for many years, ‘astropeleki’ (lightning bolt), which was bestowed upon her by Giannis Bezos — ‘Mana einai mono mia’, ‘Tis Ellados ta Paidia’, ‘Kai oi Pantremenoi Ehoun Psyhi’, ‘Ouden Provlima’ by Mirella Papaeconomou, ‘Drosoulites’ with Petros Filippidis, and ‘To Kafe tis Charas’ written by Charis Romas. In 2006-2007 she starred in the Greek series ‘Ioanna tis Kardias’ by Mirella Papaeconomou. She appeared in the Greek film ‘Safe Sex’ and starred in ‘A Touch of Spice’. She had a leading role in Alpha channel’s television series ‘To Soi Sou’, playing Charoula Chambea.
